Jordan Brand usually unveils its seasonal sneaker lineups before they’re out, and that has been the case with this year’s Summer 2021 drops. However, within days of the Summer 2021 sneakers releasing, several leakers have revealed Jordan Brand’s plans for the Holiday season as well. With 10 sneakers being unveiled for the summer and five more revealed for the winter, get ready for a series of excellent new colorways and retros.

Derrick Rose and Kanye West Working on YZY ROSE Project

Last year, Derrick Rose and Kanye West were reported to be working on a new sneaker silhouette, as shown by Rose’s wife Alaina Anderson. This week, Rose took to Instagram to unveil a collaborative project, titled YZY ROSE, that will likely include the aforementioned pair of sneakers as well as on-court shoes and more. West is famously from Chicago, and Rose is a Chi-town hero for his stint with the Bulls early in his career, so this collaboration between the two Adidas-signed stars makes a lot of sense. The project has apparently just begun, according to Rose’s post, but we’re expecting a lot of big things in the near future.

Teddy Santis Becomes Creative Director of New Balance Made in USA

Aime Leon Doré played a huge role in New Balance’s massive resurgence last year, particularly with helping the New Balance 550 return to prominence. Since the collaboration, the old-school basketball sneaker has become a popular lifestyle shoe with even the GR colorways selling out, not just the collaborations. Now, Teddy Santis, founder of Aime Leon Doré, will head the New Balance Made in USA line. The Made in USA line focuses on products created in the United States, with notable silhouettes of this line including the 990v5, 998, and more iconic shoes. With so many canvases to choose from, there’s no doubt that Santis will add a touch of his personal, creative touch to the New Balance sneakers. With his first official collection coming in 2022, get ready for an update to the Made in USA department.

New Release Date for A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 3 WMNS “Raised By Women” Announced

The A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 3 WMNS “Raised By Women” is one of the most anticipated sneakers of 2021. The luxury boutique’s collaboration on the iconic silhouette was originally slated to release during the end of March, but due to delays, which occur quite frequently in this pandemic-ridden time, the release was pushed back. Now, the sneakers are set to drop on April 21st, which is coming up very soon. Of course, this date is also subject to change, but one push-back usually does the job for releases. You’ll be able to get your hands on a pair from A Ma Maniére locations and the website.

Air Jordan 7 “Raptors” Dropping in 2022

A classic Jordan, the Air Jordan 7 “Raptors” is returning in 2022. First released in 1992, this shoe wasn’t even called the “Raptors” colorway since the Toronto Raptors weren’t a part of the NBA until 1995. Originally named the Air Jordan 7 “Charcoal”, the black, red, and purple colorway eventually became identified as a “Raptors” colorway for its likeness to the old-school Raptors jerseys. Now, it’s been rumored that they’ll drop in 2022, ten years after its last retro. A classic Jordan sneaker for sure, make sure you keep an eye out for them.

Prada and Adidas Dropping Second Luna Rossa 21 in “Silver”

The first Prada x Adidas Luna Rossa 21 dropped late last year to mostly positive reviews. Many acknowledged its successful combination of Prada’s classic America Cup sneaker while incorporating Adidas branding and features as well. It was recently unveiled that a second colorway would be releasing later this year in a “Silver” color scheme. Dressed in the namesake color throughout, the shoe continues to have the red Prada strap branding on the heel as well as Boost material in its sole. A true combination of luxury footwear and streetwear, the new Prada x Adidas Luna Rossa 21 “Silver” is due for a release in 2021.
